Vacant mobile home burns in northeast LV valley

Mobile home fire

A vacant mobile home went up in flames this morning in the northeast Las Vegas Valley.

A combined force of Clark County and North Las Vegas firefighters plus Metro Police officers responded at about 5:30 a.m. to the Willow Glen Mobile Home Park in the 4300 block of Lake Mead Boulevard near Lamb Drive.

Traffic on Lake Mead was blocked for about an hour as firefighters battled the blaze and prevented the fire from spreading to other homes in the park.

No one was in the mobile home that burned and no firefighters were injured, authorities said.
