The weekend is here again, and is bringing with it a handsome collection of VIPs.

Dane Cook will get things started tonight when he begins a two-night stand at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel.

Ray Romano and his former “Everybody Loves Raymond” co-star, Brad Garrett, will also kick-off a Friday-Saturday pair of shows this evening, and will perform inside the Terry Fator Theatre at the Mirage.

The third and final two-night-stander of the weekend will beMariah Carey, who will take to the stage at The Palms this evening as part of her second stint of back-to-back shows at The Pearl.

Meanwhile, Carmen Electra will continue her second 10-day guest spot with Crazy Horse Paris at MGM Grand. Electra will perform sans chemise through Oct. 17. (CHP is dark on Tuesdays.)

Also at MGM Grand today, motocross riders will invade the Grand Garden Arena as the world’s richest motorcycle race, the Energy Drink Open, gets underway. An array of dirtbike-riding greats, including two-time Rockstar Energy Drink US Open champion, Chad Reed, and reigning US Open champion, James Stewart, will be there.

What’s more, Stewart will host the Open’s wrap party at Studio 54 after the action comes to a close on Saturday.

Also tonight, Jermaine Dupri will once again return to the booth at Privé

Tyler Christopher, aka Nikolas from "General Hospital," will also be in town this weekend. The actor is set to put in an appearance at Wal-Mart on E. Serene Ave. on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m.

Later on that night, Kristin Cavallari of “The Hills” will be at the Luxor to host the night’s party at LAX.

Around the same time, rockers Motorhead will be next door, at House of Blues inside Mandalay Bay, along with special guests The Reverend Horton Heat and Chelsea Girls.

Adding to Saturday night’s musical offerings will be former Doors members Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger, who, along with Brett Scallions of Fuel, will perform at Wasted Space. The trio will perform at Carey Hart’s rock ‘n' roll nightclub at the Hard Rock on Sunday night, too.

And finally, a very different night of music will go down at The Palms, as top-rated European DJ Armin Van Buuren takes to the turntables at Rain for Perfecto.

Justin Timberlake rounds out the weekend’s star-studded offerings, as he, along with Greg Maddux and Butch Harmon, hosts a youth golf clinic on Sunday afternoon at TPC Summerlin. The event is being organized in conjunction with next week’s Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.

The tournament gets under way on Monday and will host a handful of celebrity participants, including Kenny G, Smokey Robinson, and Alice Cooper.
