Your guide to Easter brunches, celebrations

If you're afraid your culinary skills won't please the Easter Bunny, don't worry. There are plenty of Easter brunch options around town as well as egg hunts, photo ops and Easter celebrations galore.

For Passover, Station Casino buffets will be serving special menu items and Hillel will end the Passover celebration with a special meal April 7.

Thursday, April 1:

"He's Alive" Passion Play Ministries: The East Vegas Christian Center presents "He's Alive," a dramatic presentation of Jesus Christ that depicts the events surrounding his death, burial and resurrection.

Easter Bunny at Galleria Mall: Get your chance to snap a picture with the Easter Bunny any time during mall hours through April 3.

Passover Buffet at all Station Casinos Feast Buffets: Celebrate Passover with a special Passover Buffet at all of the Feast Buffets featuring braised beef brisket, matzo ball soup, smoked whitefish, potato latkes and noodle pudding.

Saturday, April 3:

Springs Preserve EggStravaganza: Entertainment will include festive spring-inspired activities like an Easter egg hunt, bunny petting pen, pictures with the Easter Bunny, hat parade and more.

Easter walk and carnival: Easter Seals of Southern Nevada will host a two-mile walk and Easter carnival at Bunker Park. The Walk With Me event aims to raise disability awareness and impact the lives of children and adults living with disabilities in Southern Nevada.

Easter celebration at Ethel's Chocolate Factory: Grab your Easter chocolate and photos with the Easter Bunny in one place this year at Ethel's Chocolate Factory. Enjoy tasty Easter assortments of fruit- or peanut butter-filled truffles. Both the Easter Bunny and a face painter will be available from 1-5 p.m.. April 2-4. The the store is open daily until 6 p.m.

Bunny Boogie at Mountain Crest Park: Radio station 98.5 KLUC and Clark County Parks & Recreation will present the second annual Bunny Boogie: A Spring Family Fair at Mountain Crest Park. Children ages 1 through 10 can bring their baskets to collect eggs. There also will be face painting, balloon artists, live entertainment and festival rides.

Hop & Shop at Town Square: Radio Station Mix 94.1 presents the third annual Hop & Shop Easter Egg Hunt and Family Festival at Town Square. Children will be grouped by age to participate in one of 14 egg hunts throughout the day.

Sunday, April 4:

Meet the Easter Bunny at The District: There will be a variety of photo packages available, as well as plenty of candy and eggs, face painters, balloons, giveaways and rides on The Carousel.

Easter Brunch at Springs Café: Grab Easter Brunch at Wolfgang Puck's Springs Café and you might even get to see a real Easter Bunny hopping around outside. The brunch will feature light jazz and delicacies such as Cajun peel-and-eat shrimp, hand-carved prime rib, slow-roasted leg of lamb, and traditional sustainable favorites including cage-free organic eggs benedict and free-range chicken entrees.

"Amazing Grace" service at Central Christian Church: Celebrate the Easter season with an "Amazing Grace" service held at the church's Henderson, Summerlin and Southwest campuses.

Easter Brunch at the Ritz Carlton: Featured choices will include eggs benedict, malted waffles with pecan butter, custom servings from the omelet station, and a children's breakfast buffet. Enjoy a chocolate fountain for dessert.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Lake Las Vegs: Children of all ages are invited to come hunt for eggs and visit with the Easter Bunny. Enjoy face painting from noon to 4 p.m. This event is free, though Easter Egg Hunt participation is $5 per child with a portion of the proceeds going to benefit The Children's Heart Foundation.

Rodizio Easter Brunch at Via Brasil: If you're looking for something a little different for Easter Brunch, Via Brasil Steakhouse will be offering their rodizio meat medley along with traditional brunch items like omelets, fresh fruit and fresh squeezed juices.

Easter brunch and egg hunt at T-Bones Chophouse: This Red Rock restaurant will offer a special Easter brunch menu plus an egg hunt in the courtyard. Menu items include bourbon-and-maple-glazed ham, balsamic-glazed duck legs and cinnamon-bun French toast.

Easter Brunch specials at Hash House A Go Go: Both locations will offer Easter specials including Andy's Famous Crab Cake Benny and Big O' Ham and Eggs. A special drink menu also will be featured, including tasty treats such as the famous kiwi-watermelon lemonade, choco-mint mochas, cherry limeade and special champagne cocktails.

Easter at J.W. Marriott: Celebrate the holiday with the Seventh Annual Easter Celebration at Ceres Restaurant. Brunch seating times are 9:30 a.m., noon and 2:30 p.m.. Each will be followed by an Easter egg hunt. Families can have their pictures taken during brunch with the Easter Bunny.
