Retired justice Maupin joins law firm

Retired Nevada Supreme Court Justice A. William Maupin has joined the law firm of Lionel Sawyer & Collins.

Maupin, who retired as chief justice in January 2009, will focus his practice on litigation, appellate work and legislative advocacy.

Maupin was appointed district court judge in Clark County in 1993. He was first elected to the Nevada Supreme Court in 1996.
