Saturday is the deadline to register to vote in the June 8 primary election without having to go to the election office in person. Voter registration applications must be postmarked by May 8.

Beginning on Sunday, those who wish to vote must register in person at one of two Clark County Election Department offices.

Election Department staff will be at local malls Saturday holding registration drives.

Potential voters can register from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Las Vegas Outlet Center, 7400 Las Vegas Blvd.; the Boulevard Mall, 3528 S. Maryland Parkway; the Galleria Mall, 1300 W. Sunset Road; and the Meadows Mall, 4300 Meadows Lane.

The Clark County Election Center, 965 Trade Drive, Suite A, in North Las Vegas, will also be open Saturday, but the election office at the County Government Center will not.

Both election offices will be open and have extended hours beginning Sunday and continuing to May 18. The offices will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday; 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday; and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. from May 14 to May 18.

Voters can check their registration status on the county’s website or by calling 455-VOTE (8683).
