A new H&M in Las Vegas will be the country’s largest

Parents and children may have lamented the closing of the massive FAO Schwartz location at The Forum Shops (and the loss of the giant Trojan horse that marked its entrance), but the space is going to very good use.

The three-story, nearly 60,000-square-foot venue soon will to be home to — brace yourself — the largest H&M in the United States. Las Vegas already is home to two of the Swedish retailer’s stateside outposts, one at the Miracle Mile Shops and one at Town Square, but the new Forum Shops branch will be able to pack in even more reasonably priced designer collaborations and sleek basics when it opens in Fall 2010.

Now, about getting that Ikea in town...
