Eric Hession, vice president of finance, will assume the role of treasurer at Harrah’s Entertainment Inc.

Gayle M. Hyman, who most recently served as deputy general counsel, is senior vice president and general counsel at Las Vegas Sands Corp.

David Lucchese is executive vice president of sales at Global Cash Access Holdings Inc.

Roger McElfresh is executive vice president at Las Vegas contractor Zetian Systems Inc. McElfresh formerly was an executive at Perini Corp., Lehrer McGovern/ Bovis Lend Lease, Turnberry West Construction and the Fontainebleau project.

Dilek L. Samil is senior vice president finance, chief financial officer and treasurer at NV Energy. She had been president and chief operating officer at CLECO Power LLC.

John Zilliken is vice president and general manager of Las Vegas Railway Express Inc., developer of the X Train.

Openings

Chase opened its second Homeownership Center in the Las Vegas/Henderson area at 1441 W. Warm Springs Road in Henderson to help families struggling with mortgage payments. The goal of the Chase Homeownership Center is to help borrowers who have a home loan serviced by Chase, Washington Mutual or EMC — all part of JPMorgan Chase. Chase has 51 Homeownership Centers across the country.

Scottrade, a branch-supported online investing firm, is opening a branch office May 17 at 6920 Arroyo Crossing Parkway, near Rainbow Boulevard and the Las Vegas Beltway. The office will be managed by Adam Cohen.
