Two men charged in connection with the shooting death of a North Las Vegas 7-Eleven clerk during a March 24 robbery will stand trial together this fall in Clark County District Court.

Jason Miller, 24, and Jerome Bolton, 22, both pleaded not guilty this morning in district court on various charges connected to the robbery and shooting death of Suchinma Revtissamahramaye, 38.

District Judge Kathy Hardcastle set Miller and Bolton's trial date for 10 a.m. Nov. 1.

Miller is charged with first-degree murder with a deadly weapon, robbery with a deadly weapon, burglary with a deadly weapon and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon.

Bolton is charged with one count each of murder with a deadly weapon, robbery with a deadly weapon, burglary with a deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery.

The two men will also stand trial at the same time for a different robbery at the same store on March 11. In that case, they've each been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, burglary with a deadly weapon and robbery with a deadly weapon.

In the shooting death that took place during the March 24 robbery, Miller did the robbery, while Bolton served as lookout, according to North Las Vegas Police.

Police said about 2 a.m. March 24, the two men allegedly entered the 7-Eleven store at 2100 E. Cheyenne Ave. Miller approached Revtissamahramaye and demanded money from the cash register while Bolton acted as a lookout, police said.

The clerk followed the demands and gave Miller money, then Miller allegedly shot him, according to police.

During the robbery, two customers tried to enter the store but Miller allegedly threatened them with a gun and ordered them to leave. The customers left the store and weren't injured. Miller's alleged threats to the customers brought the two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, authorities said.

Both men continue to be held in the North Las Vegas Detention Center without bail.
