Nevada Gov. Jim Gibbons is being endorsed by a law enforcement group in his re-election bid.
The Nevada State Law Enforcement Officers' Association represents about 250 members in 19 agencies statewide.
Association President Ron Cuzze (CUH-zeh) says Gibbons has shown a dedication to law enforcement.
He also says while cuts were necessary to balance the state budget, the group's members believe the incumbent governor saved as many jobs as he could.
The endorsement was announced Tuesday.
