A man was taken to University Medical Center's trauma unit Monday night after he was struck by a car in North Las Vegas.
Police responded at 7:52 p.m. after a 1992 Buick sedan struck the man near Cheyenne Avenue and Civic Center Drive. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition, police said.
Cheyenne Avenue west of Civic Center Drive was closed during the investigation.
