R&R Partners named one of best places to work

R&R Partners, creator of Las Vegas’ award-winning “What happens here, stays here” ad campaign, is expected to be recognized today as one of Advertising Age magazine’s 2010 Best Places to Work in Marketing and Media.

The state’s largest advertising agency, R&R is among 30 agencies nationwide that will be recognized.

“This company was built on the premise that to be the best, you must hire the best — and to the person, our employees are among the most talented, hard-working professionals in the business,” company CEO Billy Vassiliadis said.

“This award is dedicated to these incredible people. They show up every day and give our clients and each other 150 percent. It’s my privilege to work with them,” he said.

Ad agencies were required to submit a questionnaire to their employees that measured quality of leadership within the organization; work culture that fosters creativity, learning, open communication and teamwork; employee empowerment to contribute to the overall success of the company; and an atmosphere in which new ideas are highly valued and rewarded.

R&R, which has offices in Reno, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Salt Lake City and Washington, is headquartered in Summerlin. The company is the contracted ad agency for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.

In addition to ad teams, the company has experts in public relations, issues advocacy, government affairs, research, media and digital marketing. The “What happens here, stays here” campaign for the LVCVA won the company Brandweek’s Grand Marketer of the Year Award in 2004.

In June, the company also received a bronze Cannes Lion Award at the 2010 Cannes International Advertising Festival for its travel, transportation and tourism advertising.
