Highway Patrol seeks information in fatal hit-and-run near Boulder Station

Fatal hit-and-run

The Nevada Highway Patrol is searching for witnesses to a fatal hit-and-run early Monday morning outside Boulder Station, officials said.

Trooper Jeremie Elliott said an unknown vehicle struck a woman about 3:55 a.m. as she was crossing the 4100 block of Boulder Highway.

The woman was hit in the northbound travel lanes as she was attempting to cross from east to west, Elliott said. The vehicle then fled the scene.

The woman was transported to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center’s trauma unit, where she died several hours later, Elliott said.

NHP has obtained surveillance video of the woman leaving Boulder Station prior to the accident, but the footage does not show any possible suspect vehicles, Elliott said.

Troopers are asking anyone with information to contact NHP at (702) 486-4100. The Clark County Coroner’s Office will identify the victim pending notification of her family.
