Area of morning raid
A Metro Police marijuana task force raided a home Thursday morning in an upscale Henderson neighborhood, officials said.
Police were seen outside a home on Enchanted River Drive near Stephanie Street in the gated MacDonald Highlands community.
Henderson Police spokesman Keith Paul said the operation involved a Metro Police marijuana task force.
Metro Police spokesman Officer Bill Cassell declined to comment and referred questions to the federal Drug Enforcement Agency.
DEA spokeswoman Sarah Pullen confirmed two search warrants were served Thursday morning in the neighborhood but did not provide more details because the operation was part of an ongoing investigation.
A witness reported seeing police escort two people in handcuffs out of the home, but Pullen said at this point no arrests have been made.
