Authorities have identified a man found dead earlier this week in a street northwest of downtown Las Vegas.
Clark County coroner's officials say 37-year-old Abraham M. Mathew was the person found dead Wednesday morning on Sandy Lane. That's near the intersection of Owens Avenue and Pecos Road.
Officers initially had trouble identifying him, and released photos of the man's distinctive jacket emblazoned with the words "Phat Farm" in hopes of generating tips.
Homicide detectives were investigating the case, but the coroner's office has not yet released a cause or manner for Mathew's death.
