A Mesquite man was arrested Saturday in connection with a stabbing that left one man dead.
The stabbing was reported at about 6:20 p.m. near Mesquite and Sandhill boulevards, Mesquite Police said. They arrived to find 50-year-old Michael Eldredge suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to Mesa View Regional Hospital, where he later was pronounced dead.
Ryan Wood, 43, was taken into custody shortly after by Metro Police.
Mesquite Police continue to investigate the crime.
