The Nevada Highway Patrol says a motorcyclist is dead and the driver of another car was flown by medical helicopter to a hospital after a three-vehicle crash on a mountain highway west of Las Vegas.
The NHP says a car collided Sunday evening with the motorcycle on State Route 160 outside Mountain Springs, and another vehicle then also hit the motorcycle.
KLAS-TV reports the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
He's believed to be in his 30s. His name wasn't immediately made public.
The injured driver is said to be a woman in her 70's. Her condition isn't immediately known.
None of the five people in the second vehicle was reported injured.
