Back-to-school fairs offer information, immunizations

Parents are invited to attend three back-to-school fairs to help get their children ready for school.

The free fairs will take place at major malls throughout the Las Vegas Valley over the next three Saturdays. At the events, parents can get information about the Clark County School District’s various departments, such as food services, transportation and school police.

The Southern Nevada Health District also will offer necessary school immunizations for a minimal fee. Parents must bring their child’s shot record to immunize their children at the fair.
