Metro Police were searching for a suspect in the death of a man found Sunday night with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Shortly before 11 p.m., Metro received reports of gunfire in the area of J Street near Owens Avenue. When police arrived, they found Stacey Renod Randolph, 45, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police were searching for a suspect described as a black man in his early 20s, about 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and 250 to 300 pounds.
Investigators said the suspect has a lazy eye and may be driving a white sedan.
