RENO — The ex-fiancee of a man who has become the focus of an investigation into a Reno hospital shooting says he had a history of mental illness.
Stephanie Wright-West said Thursday that 51-year-old Alan Oliver Frazier suffered from depression and became a different person when he stopped taking antidepressants.
She says they dated in the mid-1990s and lived together in California for about six months before he called off the engagement.
Plumas County Sheriff Greg Hagwood says his agency helped Reno police execute a search warrant Wednesday at the home of Frazier near Lake Almanor in California.
Reno police have scheduled a briefing later Thursday to identify the person who killed himself after three people were shot.
