Man shot in North Las Vegas

Police are investigating the shooting death of a man Sunday morning in North Las Vegas.

Officers responded to the call around 8:20 a.m. Sunday outside an apartment complex on East Webb Avenue, near Owens Avenue and North Las Vegas Boulevard, North Las Vegas Police Department spokeswoman Chrissie Coon said.

The man, who police say was between the ages of 18 and 25 years old, was pronounced dead on the scene with multiple gunshot wounds. Detectives are currently searching for a single shooter and have not arrested anyone involved with the shooting, Coon said.

The Clark County Coroner's Office is still working to identify the man.

Sunday's fatality marks the fourth murder in North Las Vegas for 2013, Coon said.
