A three-vehicle crash on U.S. 95 this morning blocked three lanes of northbound traffic and caused major delays after a vehicle overturned on the highway.
The wreck, which happened about 7:50 a.m. near the Eastern Avenue exit, closed the three left northbound lanes for close to an hour, Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Jeremie Elliott said.
One person was transported to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, Trooper Loy Hixson Hixson said. Injuries did not appear to be life-threatening, he said.
Congestion from the crash, meanwhile, led to two smaller collisions, Elliott said. Nobody was injured in those wrecks, police said.
