Pedestrian hit
A 52-year-old man was critically injured Saturday night when he was hit by a pickup truck several blocks away from the Strip.
According to police, Skeeter Marks of Las Vegas was crossing Sahara Avenue near Van Patten Street at 8:20 p.m. Saturday in an area not marked with a crosswalk when he was hit by a pickup truck. Marks was taken to Sunrise Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The collision remains under investigation by Metro Police, and no one has been charged with a crime, police said.
