A Las Vegas man who died Saturday morning in a scuba diving incident at Lake Mead has been identified as William Meyer.

Meyer, 52, was a real estate broker and property manager with Meyer Property Management with more than 20 years experience, according to a company spokesman. Meyer moved to Las Vegas in 1971 and graduated from UNLV with a degree in business, according to his online biography.

Meyer was diving with a group on the Kingman Wash area of Lake Mead Saturday morning, when he surfaced unresponsive, National Park Service spokeswoman Christie Vanover said.
