A small fire at a residence near Nellis Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue on Sunday morning caused about $20,000 in damage, fire officials said.
The fire began about 3:30 a.m. and was put out within 10 minutes, said a Clark County Fire Department spokesman. The fire began in an exterior shed, which then spread to the main residence before being extinguished.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
