Crashes tie up Interstate 15 traffic, send 2 to hospital

Two traffic accidents on Interstate 15 caused delays Tuesday morning but have since been cleared up, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

One accident about 6:30 a.m. near the U.S. 95 interchange involved two vehicles and sent two people to University Medical Center, Highway Patrol Trooper Loy Hixson said. No information on their conditions was immediately available.

Another accident on the right shoulder of I-15 North near the Sahara Avenue exit was cleared up about 7:30 a.m., Hixson said. No one was injured, he said.
