Metro police arrested a man Monday night believed to be responsible for a string of 10 robberies since March.
Laron Johnson was arrested at about 6: 20 p.m. Monday after officers responded to an in-progress robbery in the 4500 block of North Rancho Drive and was charged with burglary with a firearm, robbery with a deadly weapon and first degree kidnapping with a deadly weapon.
Detectives believe Johnson is connected to the “Quick Pinch” robberies, a number of cases that lead police to ask for the public’s help last Friday, according to a media release. The investigation remains open.
