Police looking for suspect in assault on bus driver

Metro Police are seeking the public’s help identifying a man who assaulted a commercial bus driver outside a gas station near Tropicana Avenue earlier this year.

According to police, the shuttle bus driver parked in front of an ARCO gas station on Paradise Road at 9:10 a.m. on Jan. 5 and entered the store. Soon after, the suspect got on the bus and moved it to a different parking spot.

When the driver left the store and confronted the suspect, the bus driver was violently attacked and injured.

The man then fled in a white, 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo with Nevada license plate 610-YMD, police said,

The suspect is described as a black, about 25 years old, 5 feet 11 inches tall, about 210 pounds with short black hair.
