Thousands of homes and businesses are without power Friday night in the northwestern part of the valley after an issue with three major electrical distribution lines, NV Energy officials said.
The power outage started about 6 p.m., affecting various customers near Elkhorn and Fort Apache roads, officials said.
NV Energy crews have been dispatched to determine the cause for the outage and to repair the three major distribution lines that deliver power to the customers.
