Wind gusts up to 45 mph are expected today for areas of Clark County near the Colorado River.
The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory effective until 2 p.m. today for Clark County. High winds are expected to affect Laughlin and other areas close to the Colorado River, weather officials said.
The Las Vegas Valley is expected to experience wind gusts in the low 20 mph range, with a high of 63 degrees, officials said.
