A second suspect in a shooting at a Las Vegas Strip parking garage was arrested Tuesday, ending an eight-month-long search.

Ariya Manoi, 21, was booked at the Clark County Detention Center on three counts each of attempted murder with a deadly weapon and battery with use of a deadly weapon resulting in substantial bodily harm.

Manoi is the second person arrested in connection with the Feb. 6 shooting over a disagreement about a lost job, according to Metro Police.

Devante Jeffers, 18, was arrested on Feb. 7 on two counts of conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder with a deadly weapon and battery with use of a deadly weapon.

Metro issued a search warrant for Manoi on Feb. 8 after he was identified as a suspected gunman in the shooting.

A Metro arrest warrant indicated the following:

Two teenage males and a female had been walking on Rue de Monte Carlo near the Las Vegas Strip after being kicked out of Hard Rock Cafe when they ran into Jeffers and Manoi, identified only as “Lee” at the time, in two separate cars.

One of the teen boys had a long simmering argument with Jeffers, who was a former classmate at Sierra Vista High School, because he felt Jeffers was responsible for him losing his job.

The two picked up the argument again, and when Manoi intervened, one of the males punched him in the face.

Shortly after, the three teens convinced a 19-year-old woman to take them back to their cars at the Showcase Mall parking garage. The woman drove them to the sixth floor of the garage, where both vehicles driven by Jeffers and Lee were parked.

The group headed to the elevator, and when they exited in the main lobby, Manoi met them. He fired at least nine rounds, striking an 18 year-old man in the torso, biceps and left thigh.

A 19-year-old man was shot in the neck, and a 19-year-old woman was struck in her calf. Manoi also pointed a gun at the woman’s head, threatening to kill her, but didn’t fire allowing her to run.

The 18-year-old man who was shot multiple times suffered a shattered spine and is paralyzed from the chest down.

The 19-year-old man suffered internal bleeding and had a bullet lodged in his shoulder blade. The 19-year-old woman was treated for her wound.

Police arrested Jeffers in the early morning after the shooting when he returned to his car parked in the garage, but Manoi remained missing.

Jeffers said he only knew Manoi as “Lee” and “Noodle,” and that he met him that night through a drug dealer.

Metro narcotics detectives identified Manoi as a suspect and located his home. Metro SWAT served a warrant at Manoi’s home, where they recovered several guns and ammunition, his Nevada juvenile driver’s license and a Thailand passport.

Police were unable to locate Manoi until Tuesday. He will appear in court Nov. 7 for a preliminary hearing.
