It has come to my attention that individuals are not required to show proof of residency and mailing address when renewing Nevada driver’s licenses in person or by mail. I know individuals who have moved out of the state but continue to come to Las Vegas to renew their license using a physical and mailing address of someone who lives in Nevada. This has happened to me without my permission; the DMV did not require any proof of physical and mailing addresses.
I am sure that I am not the only person whose address has been used by others without consent.
Wake up, DMV, and require the necessary proof.
