Las Vegas Sun sports reporters Ray Brewer and Case Keefer open this week's show by discussing the top-ranked high school football team in the nation, Florida's Booker T. Washington, coming to town Friday to take on Bishop Gorman. They then work their way into other pertinent topics, highlighted by a discussion of the definition of "athlete" and whether Green Valley can match Canyon Springs' "quickness".

The Mojave High football team snapped a three-game losing skid today, beating host Western, 61-0

Ty Flanagan rushed eight times for 183 yards and three touchdowns, and Elijah Smoot rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown on eight carries.

Deandre Armstrong and Davion Fletcher each also had rushing scores for the Rattlers, and Jaylon Delgado added a 10-yard touchdown reception.

The Rattlers play Cheyenne next week in an important Sunset League game, looking to beat the Desert Shields for the first time in school history.

“We are 0-9 lifetime against them. It was nice to start rolling toward next week,” Mojave coach Joe Delgado said.
