One person was killed and another injured early today in a shooting at an apartment complex in the northwest Las Vegas Valley.
Metro Police responded to reports of a shooting about 12:10 a.m. in the 200 block of Orland Street, near U.S. 95 and Jones Boulevard.
Officers arrived to find one person dead inside an apartment and another person suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg or hip, Metro Police spokeswoman Laura Meltzer said.
Metro homicide detectives were investigating.
