Fatal accident
A motorist who may have suffered a medical episode behind the wheel died early Wednesday after losing control of his car and causing a collision.
Metro Police said the man was traveling north on Lamb Boulevard near Lake Mead Boulevard about 7 a.m. when he veered east and struck a planter and a wall before coming to rest.
The motorist, who had not yet been identified as of late Wednesday, was taken to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Police said the incident was “possibly medically related,” though a cause has not yet been determined.
