Four injured in drive-by shooting in northeast valley

​Four people were sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a Sunday morning drive-by shooting in the northeast part of the valley.

At 1:11 a.m., police responded to reports of a shooting in the parking lot of an Elk's Lodge near Owens Avenue and H Street, Metro Lt. John Liberty said.

A white sedan fired into a group of people in the parking lot of the lodge, hitting four victims in two cars, he said.

Police found 11 shell casings on the scene.

The shooting is currently being investigated by Metro's gang unit.
