Man killed working on side of road identified

The man who was killed in a hit-and-run Sunday while cutting asphalt in a bus lane has been identified by the Clark County Coroner's Office.

Robert Lee Lujan, a 57-year-old from Las Vegas, died from multiple blunt force trauma after he was hit by a truck traveling westbound on Sahara Avenue.

The driver fled the scene on foot, but was later apprehended by police, according to Metro.

He was arrested on DUI charges.
