Homicide victim at house party was shot outside home, police say

​​No suspects have been identified in the shooting of a 20-year-old man who was killed early Monday at a house party in the northwest Las Vegas Valley, Metro Police reported.

The shooting occurred about 12:30 a.m. outside 8813 Barium Rock Ave., near Iron Mountain Road and North El Capitan Way, police said.

The victim was attending a large house party with about 70 other guests. He had left the party and returned right before the shooting, police said.

He was shot outside the house, near the driveway, and fled from his attacker by running through the party and into the backyard, where he collapsed, police said.

Party guests had carried the victim to a car by the time police arrived.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

His identity and cause of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner's Office.

This is the 76th homicide investigated by Metro Police this year.
