Pedestrian hit
A pedestrian died this evening after being struck by a vehicle in the western Las Vegas Valley.
Lt. James Mizusaki said the wreck happened shortly before 6 p.m. on Durango Drive just south of Sahara Avenue. The driver is at the location and is cooperating with police, Mizusaki said.
Preliminary information indicates the pedestrian was at fault, Mizusaki said.
No other details about the crash were available immediately.
