AT&T expands mobile internet coverage in Las Vegas valley

AT&T has expanded its mobile Internet coverage in the Las Vegas area, the company has announced.

The company said it has built seven new mobile Internet cell sites in five communities throughout the valley that could improve internet speeds in its 4G LTE network. Two sites have been established in Henderson, two in Paradise, and one each in North Las Vegas, Spring Valley and Enterprise. The company said it invested almost $200 million into its Las Vegas infrastructure from 2011 to 2013.

Launched in Las Vegas in 2011, the 4G network is currently being expanded nationwide with similar mobile Internet sites. AT&T said it has spent around $140 billion since 2008 to expand its national network.
