Two people were arrested Tuesday after being linked to a string of robberies in northwest Las Vegas.
According to a Metro Police report, the 10 armed robberies began Aug. 11 when Gjergj Millan would rob small businesses, such as beauty salons, check cashing businesses, and a laundromat.
During the crime spree, Millan wore a motorcycle helmet and brandished a semi-automatic handgun, police said. After the robberies, Meagan Thistle would pick up Millan, who was seen entering a red Toyota Camry with Thistle at the wheel.
Officers compiled evidence and were able to catch the two suspects on Tuesday, spotting their Camry after a robbery on the 1700 block of North Buffalo Drive, near Vegas Drive, police said.
Millan and Thistle were each charged with multiple counts of robbery with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a deadly weapon and burglary with a deadly weapon, police said.
