Metro Police are investigating the near-drowning of a toddler in the southwest part of the valley.
The incident occurred around 11 a.m. Sunday in the 3400 block of Remuda Trail, near Spring Mountain Road and Torrey Pines Drive, Lt. Jeff Goodwin said.
The toddler was taken to University Medical Center.
No other details were currently available.
