Metro Police say they're investigating the shooting deaths of two people at an apartment complex several miles east of downtown.

Police were called just after 5 a.m. Tuesday to a report of gunshots heard in the 3000 block of South Nellis Boulevard, near Vegas Valley Drive, according to Officer Jesse Roybal.

Officers who arrived on scene found two dead males outside with gunshot wounds, police said.

The identities and ages of the deceased males will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

No suspect description was immediately available, and police said they have not yet determined a motive behind the shooting.
