Coroner: Man died of injures suffered in fall

A man who died earlier this month in a construction-related incident suffered multiple blunt-force injuries in a fall, according to the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is still investigating the death of 49-year-old Porfirio Gonzalez-Huerta.

Metro Police were called about 11:30 a.m. on Aug. 1 to the site of the incident in the 4100 block of Bonanza and Sandhill roads, police said. Few details were released.

It could take up to six months to conclude the investigation, OSHA spokeswoman Terri Williams said.
