Metro Police are investigating a fatal stabbing this morning in the east valley.
Officers responded about 10:40 a.m. to a home in the 5200 block of Crater Circle, near Boulder Highway, where they found an unresponsive man in the backyard, police said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
