Three-vehicle crash
Three adults and a juvenile were injured in a three-vehicle crash this afternoon in the east valley, according to Metro Police.
Police were called about 4:40 p.m. to the scene of the crash in the area of North Hollywood Boulevard and East Washington Avenue, Lt. Jeff Goodwin said.
Four people were taken to University Medical Center, with one of the injured people suffering serious but nonlife-threatening injuries and the rest with moderate injuries, he said.
Police were blocking southbound Hollywood in the area during the investigation, he said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and all three vehicles remained on scene, Goodwin said.
