Two men killed as the car they were in struck two streetlights in a crash late Saturday near Charleston and Jones boulevards have been identified by the Clark County Coroner's Office.
Las Vegas residents DeShawn Lee Walker, 31, and Jose Angel Santiago, 27, died of multiple blunt injuries, according to the Coroner's Office.
Walker was driving a 2005 Hyundai XG350 about 11:20 p.m. west on Charleston, near Mohawk Street, at a high speed when he lost control, according to Metro Police.
The car drove onto the curb and sidewalk before striking the lights and re-entering the road, police said.
Both Walker and the passenger, Santiago, were pronounced dead on scene, police said.
