Missing Las Vegas man, 72, found dead near Jean

A 72-year-old Las Vegas man who went missing Christmas Eve has been found dead, according to the Clark County Coroner's Office.

Metro Police were called about 10:40 a.m. to the area of Interstate 15 near Jean, where a dead body was reported, according to Metro operator logs.

Wallace Alberto Inkenbrandt was found in the area and pronounced dead, according to the Clark County Coroner's Office.

Inkenbrandt was last seen driving near Lone Mountain Road and Decatur Boulevard, according to police.

He suffered from several medical issues and didn't have his medication when he went missing, police said.

At the time of his disappearance, police believed he might have been in the Jean area, according to a Metro news release.

The official cause and manner of his death have not yet been released, according to the Coroner's Office.
