Metro Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found near a downtown Las Vegas cemetery on Wednesday morning, police said.
At 4:48 a.m., officers received a call from a construction worker who discovered the body in the area of East Owens Avenue, near North Main Street and North Las Vegas Boulevard, Officer Michael Rodriguez said.
That's across the street from Woodlawn Cemetery.
The man's cause of death is unknown, but he was found with a bloody face, Rodriguez said.
No other details were immediately available.
