In Las Vegas, you can see a theatrical mashup of some of director Baz Luhrmann’s most famous films in “For the Record: Baz” at Light Nightclub inside Mandalay Bay.
Luhrmann’s eccentricity doesn’t end at his movies. Earlier this month Luhrmann put his “Great Gatsby”-inspired home in Sydney on the market.
Designed and built in the 19th century with Italianate architecture, the 30,000-square-foot home has two self-contained guest apartments and a heated swimming pool.
There are nine bedrooms and seven bathrooms, plus a ballroom, drawing room, computer room, sun room and powder room.
It also has a temperature controlled wine cellar and plenty of chandeliers, fireplaces and skylights.
