Metro Police are investigating an attempted suicide in the northwest valley.
Police received a report around 9:30 a.m. of a woman found with stab wounds in the 3500 block of Shady Timber.
After an investigation, police determined the stabbing was an attempted suicide, Metro officer Laura Meltzer said.
The woman was transported to University Medical Center. No details regarding the status of the victim were available.
The incident is being investigated.
